Etkinlik hakkında

Build Night is where AWS Student Builder Group at Sabancı University kicks off. One evening to learn what AWS is, unlock a year of AWS training for free and meet the people you'll build with. Open to all Sabancı students, no experience needed and every major is welcome.

What you'll leave with

• 12 months of AWS Skill Builder Premium, a $449 value, free for verified students. We set it up together on your phone.

• New people to build with, from every major on campus

• A clear path to your first AWS certification, and how to get there for free

• A Founding Member certificate, handed out at the exit

Program

• 17.00 Doors open and check-in

• 17.30 Opening. What AWS is, who we are and what you get

• 17.55 Builder Center, Skill Builder and certifications, hands-on on your phone

• 18.20 Networking. Small-group tables first, then open networking

• 19.50 Closing, group photo and certificates

• 20.05 End

• Before you come

• You need a free AWS Builder ID to attend. No account yet? We'll create it together during the event, it takes 2 minutes.

• Bring a charged phone and make sure you can open your Sabancı email

• Keep your class schedule or enrollment letter as a PDF on your phone, in case the student verification asks for it

• Good to know

• This event is for Sabancı University students only. Studying somewhere else? Find the AWS Student Builder Group on your campus at meetup.com/pro/student-builder-groups. Not a student? Your local AWS User Group is a better fit, find one at aws.amazon.com/developer/community/usergroups

• Skill Builder Premium is for verified university students aged 18 or over. In Turkey you redeem it through an AWS account, which asks for a bank card. The code itself costs $0.

• Build Night is run by students. AWS Student Builder Group at Sabancı University is a student-led community and we are not AWS employees.

• Questions? Send us a message here on Meetup.
